Taste of Salt – 4 to 7 September
Cervia’s most identifiable festival celebrates its ‘white gold’: sweet salt. Tastings, shows, guided tours and the historic ‘Armèsa de Sel’ make this event a journey into the salt tradition.
Ironman Italy Emilia Romagna – 18 to 21 September
Cervia turns into the triathlon capital of the world with the Ironman Italy Emilia Romagna. Thousands of athletes from all over the world will compete in three disciplines: swimming (3.8 km), cycling (180 km), and running (42.2 km), crossing breathtaking landscapes such as the Cervia Salt Pans and the village of Bertinoro. The weekend also includes the Night Run, the Parade of Nations, Ironkids and the 70.3 and 5150 races. An event that brings adrenaline, entertainment and a great positive impact on the local economy.
Cervia Garden City – Until the end of September
Stroll among floral installations created by international gardeners. An explosion of colours and scents transforms the city into an open-air botanical museum.
Sunset in Salina – Until 13 September
An electric boat trip to the salt marsh at sunset: a poetic experience amid nature and silence.
Twilight Butterfly – Every Sunday
At the Butterfly House, experience the magic of the twilight flight of tropical butterflies, an enchanting moment for the whole family.
Exhibition ‘Formas Eternas’ by Pablo Atchugarry – Until 30 November
The Uruguayan artist’s sculptures dialogue with nature at the Mare Pineta Resort, in an exhibition combining art and landscape.
